My Stockings Issue Part 2

Where was i?

Oh, yes. the tragedy of wearing panty hoses/ stockings to work everyday. Huwaaa... we should be given stockings allowance, considering the fact that i could only wear them once.

Thursday:

I had the audacity to wear my too-dark-to-look-normal dark grey pantyhose to work. In fairness, once worn, its not that bad afterall. Ang kagandahan pa nyan, it doesnt let me down by running on me. :) grrrrreat.

That night, the Sales team treated the marketing team (which im part of) at Dencio's Harbour View near CCP, overlooking Manila bay... Yes, we felt like 1st class chimi-aa on Day off.

I played a trick on my friends. While we were beside the manila bay, i decided to ask my girl friends if my "seductive look" would catch the eyes of other people. They said it didnt. Aherm. So I put the trick on Bookie, who had a couple of drinks. Since medyo may tama na sha, he kept on stopping me since he was starting to believe that i'm seriously flirting with him.

AB: Bookie, anong mafifeel mo pag tinignan kita ng ganito? (smouldering but virginal look)
Bookie: (slaps my forehead) Wag kang ganyan.. feeling ko, gustong gusto mo ako...

I laughed so hard i thought i would suddenly go overboard the railing and drown in the dark waters of Manila Bay. It was fun making fun of him.

When Bookie went inside, he told my friends that i was already drunk, which is quite impossible since i only had 3 bottles of my favorite Red Horse, and knowing that i have a huge reservoir for beer, that couldnt have made me lose my head. Since i put all my friends to the "seduction test", my friend Karylle said to Bookie,

"hindi lasing yun. Lahat kami, tinanong nya ng ganyan."

I should really learn to filter my sense of humor.

Friday:

Since three bottles of that Stallion cannot put a drunken master down, i was able to wake up, head to the office earlier than normal without hangover (much to the amusement of everyone). I arrived at around 7:32, only to find out that minutes after i arrived, they closed down the entire EDSA because of the rally. Drats... sayang. i could have said that i was stuck and cant go to work.

Anyway, we went home early because of the unfortunate turnout of events. But before that, our SVP for Marketing made small talks about my chair label.

SVP: Sino si Anna Banana?
AB: Ako po yun?
SVP: Bakit anna banana? bakit hindi Anna Apple? or Anna Orange?
AB: (because i couldnt find a witty answer to such an absurb/ rhetorical question, i only said...) Yan po kasi ang binigay sa aking nickname ni Sir (Aussie boss).

During times of emergency, my wit and sense of humor never fail to desert me.
