Oh Cambodia Faithful and Vietnam Moreno Tour by the Walang Tulugan Gang
As expected, the trip was AWESOME. No, it was even beyond awesome. Its totally something else. It was spectacular, magnificent, fabulous, fantastic and all adjectives to that effect. I could not have asked for a better vacation.

February 18, 2012
Instead, I spent the day in SMX for the travel expo where I tortured myself watching my brother book his three week vacation in Spain (without me!). Oh, I wish I had the resources and free time to travel around the world too. I cannot be committal this year as I have my graduate studies to take care of.
I also spent my afternoon and evening whining, wining and dining with Anime and Flamethrower at the latter's posh new condo. Its so fun getting intoxicated at her balcony while we feast our eyes on the beauty and madness of Manila and discuss how awesome our lives are, climbing our way to the top of the career ladder and still managing to retain friendships and maximize our youth.
So what if my plans of getting married today didn't push through? IF it did, I doubt I could ever fulfill my other dreams of making it big and increasing my self-worth as a woman and as a person, in general.
I just know that God has a bigger and grander plan for me. And with today being such a great day, I'm pretty sure the plan is now set in motion.
And I don't need three glasses of wine to tell me that.

Babang Luksa
Yep, its been that long. I have gone full circle and to be honest, I don't feel anything. Maybe because I have spent most of the last year feeling so much that I am left with this numbness. Or maybe because I am finally healed of my broken heart. Or maybe because I am filled with so much love and happiness now that I cannot remember any good memory from the past for me sink in and wallow in depression.
Anyhoo, who's complaining? Good thing is that I am fine, actually, more than fine. I'm doing really, really well.
With the help of my family and friends, I am completely booked for this week.
Today, we have a family thingie to celebrate love and single-blessedness. Actually, no. We just want to create a reason to party and eat to our heart's content. Yes, that's how close we are. We find reasons to come together and pig out.
Also, I have this week-long thing with the Perks starting on V-day. No, we obviously don't think its pathetic to huddle with all our single friends, drink and watch Rom-com movies until we vomit all our internal organs on the balcony of Flamethrower's new condo. And probably we might dance senseless to the Divinyl's I Touch Myself like we always do. That's our idea of fun. And the day after, we plan to do a post-Vday evaluation, whatever that means.
And oh, I may finally say yes to that date just to get it over and done with. I don't know. I'm feeling reckless, so sue me.
Which reminds me, better send a tweet to Ian Somerhalder now to invite him to be my Valentine's date. Tubby might beat me to the punch again this year. Who knows, maybe he'd say yes. :-)

The Reserved Space
Beside you, everything fades into oblivion.
The falling of leaves that reminds us that another season is about to end. The shuffling of people's feet as they hurriedly cross the street. The guileless laughter of children as they play with abandon. The coldness of the wind that embraces us and brings you another inch closer to me.
Beside you, I forget about the the harshness of the truth that we are two puzzle pieces that will never ever fit.
That is why I chose to wait.
To wait here until this space has forgotten how we used to warm it with everything that you meant to me.

Party Like Its (Almost) 2012

I don't know the Indian Guy but he said our party rocks!

Burning down the house.

The ultimate party stance: The Up In The Air Hand Movement (and I dont know the other Indian guy, as well)

Me and G*, with her "Ikaw na ang naka Venus Cut" top

Me and my two hot friends of friends (who became my good friends under the Group Hab circle)... and yes, Paris* got his cut while dancing with abandon

The original is always the best. Ang promotor ng lahat ng kawasakang ito, ang Perksquad (minus Queer*, who came late)

Mga pekeng Party Girls (who are undercover geeks in real life)

Makaposing lang.

Perks with Flamethrower (or is it Mamba's) friend.

The girls of Perksquad are on fire!

I love these guys!

We're complete!

Mamba and TR friends.

Prom dates lang?

The most awesome set of friends EVER.

Perksquad and Group Hab
Prom This Moment:Group Hab's First Christmas Party
it was a party that would kick all other parties in the butt and say "Lame-o". Izdashit.
You just know that your party is awesome when you get people to hug and dance like crazy with strangers at the end of the night. Yes, it was that good. Its like a big soiree, but with more booze and hotter grinding dance moves.
Kudos to the core group, Perksquad, who brought friends and friends of friends together. I could not be prouder of us. We're complete!
As this is a dry run of our dream to be the Granddaddy of all Party Organizers, I am confident that we will see this dream come to fruition, basing on the success of our first event.
8 Cases of beer. 4 bottles of Vodka. 2 Tequilas. 4 Jack Daniels. 80+ young professionals. 1 big event.
and we are just getting started.

In the Spirit of Vodka, er, Holidays
I am so ready to get rid of 2011. And what better way to start the beginning of the end than to host a super duper awesome party that will get everyone stark raving drunk. Yes! I, a proud member of Perksquad and Group Hab, will be dancing til my feet burst in their 3-inches heeled glory. Never mind that it's a Monday. Where is it written that you cannot party on a Monday? My friends and I have defied all possible unwritten rules on partying i.e. never mix hard drinks, no partying on a weekday, no wearing of flipflops and flat shoes etc. etc. and the best part of this is that we still get to work on time and function normally and even more productively than the non-hung-over people at work.
Did I mention that this party was sponsored by me and my friends? Yes, we had a bar closed so we can throw a party for our friends and friends of friends. I asked Tubby why we are doing this, and she said,
"Last year nga, naka 14K tayo sa Christmas party natin, at sampu lang tayo. Ngayon pa kaya na ang laki laki na ng circle of friends natin?"
It makes sense. Some people do charities, we get people drunk. All in the Spirit of Christmas.
Tonight will be Legen...Wait for it...

I am A Zombie. A Very Productive Zombie.
To say that my social life is active is a severe understatement. I can only blame this on the season. People keep on asking me to do a lot of extracurricular activities that blur the line of work and personal life. Hosting activities, organizing surprise birthday, Christmas, bridal shower, reunion parties, dance presentations, and the ultimate singles mixer. Yes, this is on top of a very time and energy consuming 8-5 (rather, 8-8) job. I barely sleep, I wake up early, I go out a lot, and I seldom have dinner. How I can manage to remain vertical and still have this much energy is really beyond me.
After all these hectic events, I cannot wait to leave. After all, a girl needs to get out of this madness once in a while. And this, my dear, is a welcome reprieve.
